The style is timeless with reflection of strength, femininity and effortless elegance inspired from British heritage, travel and art. It is unique, affordable and great quality. A woman with grace and an infallible sense of style and luxury.
It is a blend of contrasting elements by nature inspired from culture, style and art with modernity represented by today’s multicultural Britain.
Adam and Alice products are built with passion, integrity and quality finish. It is created out of the realisation of particular clothing products & styles are not readily available and catering for a particular market. We therefore created those products starting with our first range of women’s shirts and shirtdresses of certain styles influenced by British & European classic art & culture. They also come with a unique blend of colours & textures.
As a secondary effect, we also aim to support the luxury trade and help skilled artists and craftsmen. In today’s world high-street is dominating the market, affecting skilled craftsmen’s to either lose their jobs or divert trade. Our tradition and origin is losing its value. Authenticity is lost in many brands and people fail to see the hurdles faced by sustainable art and craft in order to inspire generations for new, creative and imaginative approaches to our trade and the fashion industry as a whole.
Our products are hand-cut and sewn by skilled artists. We offer authenticity in every form in our products.
We work with cottons, silk, wools and other natural fibres to offer customers value for money and a variety of timeless styles, each defined by its own unique character & inspiration.
Adam and Alice code of conduct sets out our policy on supply chain labour and environmental standards, and is based on the Ethical Trading Initiative’s (ETI) base code. Unlike some of the recent revelations on factories breaking human rights laws, and yet still utilised by reputable high street retailers for commercial advantage, our key principles include: employment is freely chosen, child labour is forbidden, living standard wages are met, and workers are entitled & provided with standard employment rights and environmental health & safety working conditions.
In addition to the aforementioned – the unique products & styles we created, not currently available in the current market, as well as our efforts to revive & sustain artists & craftsmen diminishing and yet vital to our industry, Adam and Alice also stands to support women in second and third world countries, where women living in underprivileged circumstances should be given the same opportunities and environment to grow and succeed as their privileged counterparts. We aim to create a community and support women with dreams and passion who want to build something for themselves.
We believe supporting women is supporting the generations, creating a helping sustainable community and building a better future.
1% of the Adam and Alice’s net profit is aimed to contribute to women’s growth and empowerment, as an initial step to supporting the cause. We aim to expand on this percentage with the growth of the brand.
